Hola Todos,
This week has been good. Not very successful, but good. The hotels are starting to get more buisness and there´s a visible difference in Higüey. There are barely any peole in the streets now and lot of people are just gone. Elder Deans and I tried contacting an area this week that´s close to our chapel, but has never really been worked. This is due mostly to the fact that it´s a rich area, so the houses are bigger, farthur apart, and inhabited by people who are ... developing humility. It was mostly unsuccessful, although we did at least get some comititment to let us come back and teach at a loater time, which is always a good start. There are a lot more critters in there area, due to the fact that there aren´t as many people and that it´s right next to a lot of uninhabitted area. In one day we found 10 tarantulas that had become part of the road in various places.
We met some new people yester day that members brought to churhc with them. The seem to have greatly enjoyed church. I´m glad to see the membrs reaching-out to their neighbors too... right as I´m leaving the area. That´s alright though, it doesn´t matter what missionaries are here if they hard as hard as they can and help the members to progress.
But yeah, I´ve been in Higüey for six months now and tomorrow I´ll be headed for my new area in San Pedro de Macoris. Interestingly enough, I´ll be taking to spot of the same Elder Whom I replaced here in Higüey. It´s a small world. My new companion will be Elder Hatch, Who is in his seccond transfer, and Elder Deans will get Elder Clase, who´s about to finish his mission, i think.
Well, It´s good to hear from all of you a know that you´re all doing well. I love you guys and Í pray for you .
