Hola Todos,
¿Como estan? I´m still here in Higüey. I´m doing well. We still have a really hard time finding people to teach, but we´re working hard and we´re happy, so I guess we´re doing something right, or else the spirit wouldn´t be with us. We´ve been working a lot more with inactive members recently to try to help them remember their testimonies and to have a desire to share that testimoney with others in their lives. There´s one man that served a mission a really long time ago and when I asked he said that he knew Chris Robinson, our old bishop. I´m sure there have been a lot more than one "Elder Robinson" in the mission, but not that many back then. His name is Hermano Yasmin.
We´ve been doing lots of contacts and hard work, but we can´t seem to find many people who are ready to accept the gospel here. We did however, have the baptism of one of our investigatores, Jose Miguel, on Saturday. He´s been going through a lot of trials lately and it´s been inspireing to see his overcome them. At one point he had no job, no place to stay at night, and nobody to turn to and was very depressed. In just a couple of weeks though he´s been able to endure through it and is recieving his blessings for it.
Anyhow, I´m out of time again. Thank you all for your prayers and support. I can´t wait to be able to see you all again and to enjoy all those family activities.
I love you all,
Cuidense!
Elder Adam Russell Rich
