Hola Todos,
I don´t have too much to say today.  We just got the transfer call this morning and it looks like I´ll be here in Higüey for at least another six weeks.  One of the new elders coming to join our district is Elder McBride, my companion from the CCM.  I´m excited to see him and to hear how he´s doing.
THe past week has gone by with a lot of searching for new people to teach.  Our biggest obstacle right now is that everybody works for the hotel resorts in Bavaro and they can´t go to church if they work there.  If they skip work of ask for Sundays off the hotels just fire them and hire someone else because those who do´n´t have jobs in the hotels don´t have jobs at all.  We´re still working to find and to teach people though, and my companion, Elder Deans, and I just don´t let enything get us down.  It´s a good this my area is so big, or I think we would have run out of people by now.  I con´t really think of much else to talk about today.  I´m going to be new Distrct Leader for my area now and it feels kind of wierd.  On the bright side though, all of the Elders here in our district are really good missionaries, so I won´t have to worry about them too much.
I haven´t been able to send any pictures in a while so I´ll send some in this e-mail.
