Hola Todos,
Wow, time flies. There´s not really anything new to report for this week. Although, I did manage to flood our house with a couple inches of water the other day. I find that quite impressive, seeing as how we live on the second floor. In our bathroom there isn´t really enough water pressure for a good shower to go, so we have a big garbage can that we just fill with water, and then we use a small pitcher to do "bucket-showers" and to flush the toilet. The trash can usually takes a long time to fill up because the water comes out at a slow rate. When we left the house in for the afternoon, I forgot that I had left the can filling up. When we got home my companion, Elder Deans, was the first one in the door. As he took the first step into the house I head a big splash and I knew that somehow that just didn´t sound right. Due to the extremely even and level nature of dominican construction, there were some parts of the floor with about two inches of water and other parts that were completely dry. Thanks to this, our lugage and everything wsa fine, although I did have to throw away a number of old books that were in the house when I got here and have just been sitting on the floor, for lack of a better place to keep them. I also, had to throw away a lot of old teaching reaccords, but they were a few years old and had mold on them anyway, so it wasn´t that big of a loss. After about an hour of sweeping an mopping, Elder Deans and I were able to clear out all of the water and completely dry the floor. Afterwards, went up to the roof to watch some lightning that was farther away from us.
Here there are wierd, random lightning storms, where you see a whole bunch of really cool, big lightning, that you never hear and just stays in the clouds. I got some good video of some of them on my camera, but I´ll have to see if I can send them next week.
The work keeps miving forward here, bit by bit, and this week we´re getting ready for the open-house for our newly-remodelled chapel. We actually aren´t going to have Zone Conference until tomorrow, so we are looking forward to finally being able to bring those of our investigatores that need to talk with the Mission President before their baptisms.

OH! By the way, we now have a working refridgerator, so I´m going to start trying some more of those recipies that Rebecca sent me. I´m really looking forward to it. Also, If anyone wants to e-mail me some recepies, I´d be extremely greatfull. For example, Mom, I passed my birthday without a Pineapple-Upside-Down cake, because I forgot the recipie. Can you send it to me?
