Hola Todos,

I´m doing well.  This week went pretty well.  This weekend we got to see a couple get married and baptized and it was a great experience.  The other family that was planned to get married had the husband fall through, but we hope the see them get married soon.  It´s been a fun week.  We just got back from the back of our area again where there´s a little lagoon where we were able to find a bunch of clam shells and good pictures.

I had a somewhat interesting experience this week.  The other elders next to our area asked if I knew someone who was a ski jumper from Park City serving on a mission right now in Germany.  I was shocked that they would know of him, but I replied that yes, his name is Buck Bailey and I grew up with him.  As it turns out, one of the missionaries has church and mormon newspapers delivered to him through the mail delivery system.  They had read an article about Buck and how he´s serving a mission right now when he could be in the winter Olympics instead.  It was great to read about him and about how he had chosen to serve a mission.  It´s amazing to me to think that we´re now both in completely different parts of the world and somehow I can still end up hearing about someone I grow up with and his missionary work in Germany.  I had just read, earlier that day, that account of when the sons of Mosiah and Alma meet up after years of missionary service and Alma faints from his excitement about the fact that all of them were still strong in the gospel.  I couldn`t help but to see the parallel to how excited I was to hear about Buck in this newspaper article.  It really is funny just how small the world is, especially when you´re LDS.

Anyhow, Happy late B-Day to Dad, happy anniversary to Rebecca and Paul and to Liz and John.  I´ll try to include a few pictures as well.  Thank you all for your love and support and for your prayers.  I hope and pray that you´re all doing well and that you might be able to receive help with whatever trials may arise.

P.S.--- Jeremy (yeah, that probably sounds weird by now), Elder Snow--- It´s good to hear you´re doing well.  Your Spanish is coming along well too.  I can´t remember, did I write that letter in English or Spanish?  Well, whichever way, you´ll understand it eventually.  Keep up the good work.  I want to hear all of your stories eventually.  Also, pray for Russell.  We got these to bums on missions, now we´re gonna get that bum on a mission too, one way or another.
