¿Cómo estan? Anyhow, I'm doing well. Mostly the same here on my end. This last week we got all of the latino misionaries in the ccm with us. It's interesting to see the different accents they have from different areas. It's way easier to understand the ones from Guatamala. We've got two of them in our room. They're pretty cool, but they must think we're crazy. My p-days are on thursdays here. In Provo they were on fridays.
The day after I sent my e-mail last week, I got the Halloween packeage that Mom sent. Thanks a ton! And then on Monday(I think?) I got the package that Rebecca had her friend bring with her. I was in the classroom "studying" and we had the door propped open. All of the sudden I heard my first name, only it took me a second to rellize that it was my name. Not only that, but an ammerican was saying it. It sounded so wierd. I stuck my head out the door to see who it was. I was speachless at first. I had no idea what was giong on. I was really glad to get all of the stuff though. The shirts are perfect and the button extender makes my other shirts all it better. Not to mantion all of the food! I remember thinking on thursday last week that I wished I could get some candy. Now I have more candy and sweets than I'm sure waht to do with. I'm glad to see the hymnbooks too.
Rebecca- When did you get the case for your hymnbook? I noticed it had "Chile" written on the fromt and was wondering. Thanks for letting me know that Jer.'s done with his papers. I think his letter got lost in the mail. The drawing that was in the letter I sent you was just a doodle that I thought looked cool. You can put it up on the blog if you want.
Dad- What time do you go to the Temple on thursday mornings? I've been going at 9:30AM here, but this week we switched to 8:30AM because of the Latinos. I was wondering if you're in the Temple at the same time there as I am here. Oh, If you run into Chris Robinson for anythig could you ask him what year he served? I think he might have been here just a year ofr two after the DR was opened.
Elder Anderson from the First Quarrum of the Seventy came to talk to us this week. He gave a good talk, but it was in spanish. I think I understood most of it. We watch dvd's of devotionals every week that were given in the Provo MTC a while ago. In a talk from Elder Bednar, he told a joke that one of the other apostles (i don't remember who) like to tell. He says, i once knew a man who always caried one of those miniature copies of the Book of Mormon around with him. He always kept it in his jacket pocket right over his heart. That Book of Mormon saved his life one day when he was shot. The bullet hit the Book of Mormon and and came to a dead stop at the Isaiah chapters.
Anyhow, that's pretty much it for this week. Thanks for all of your support. I was talking with the rest of my district about the package that Rebecca's friend brought down and we all came to the conclusion that it's nice to be the ninth person in the family to serve a mission because everyone knows exactly what you're ging through.
