Hello!

Hola Fam.
I'm donig alright, I only have a half hour on the computer before it will kick me off and erase anything that I have on in the message.  So if you ever get an email that is cut off in the middle of a sentacne, it's because I ran out of time and had to send as fast a possible.
My first week here has been pretty hecktic. In the MTC avery week feels like a day and every day feels like a year.  there isn't any time to  do  much other than class, studies and meals.  Now that I've been here a litle while, I'm starting to get the hang of it.  My spanish is coming along slowly, but surely, and I can at least keep up with the scedule now without always feeling tired.  There are 8 elders in  my district and 3 harmanas (sisters).  I'm in district 51D and averyone other than me and my companion, Elder Martel,  are going to Argentina.  I've had so many great spiritual experiences here that I can't even begin to get anything satisfactory down in the alloted time.  The power and influence of the Spirit here are overwhelming.  The spanish phrase that I use to describe how I feel here is, "Estoy animado con el fuego del espiritu santo!"
My companion is great, but he's a bit of a ladies man.  As I am typing up this email, he is keeping busy behind me by talking up a coule of harmanas. (which her never misses th opportunity to do)  I get allong well with my companion, but he loves to be the class clown and is usually very irreverent and boisterous.  It gets on my nerves, but I just strive to remember to love him to the best of my abilities and remain focused in everything that we are supposed to be doing.
We have many opportunities to practice teaching here.  Yesterday, las harmanas in our district were teaching Elder Martel and me the lesson on the Restoration.  At the end of the lesson, Harmana Smith started bearing her testimony but broke out into tears.  After this happened, Harmana Hansen started bearing her testimony, but brke into even bigger tears.  Finally, Harmana Hobbs bore her testimony, but she was able to hold it together.  Elder Martel and I figure we get a 66% for only two of them crying.  But in all seriousness, it was amazing how storng the spirit was as they taught and testified.  I only hope that I can teach with that same power.  The easy thing about being in the MTC is that the only decicion you ever have to make is to be odebient; after that all of the decicions are made for you.  Anyhow, my time is running out.  I wish the best for all of you.  If anyone wants to mail me, send it to the Provo MTC at mailbox #263

See ya in two years,
 Elder Adam Rich
